SC Villa’s Jonah Kakande signs two new year deal
Winger Patrick Jonah Kakande has put an end to the speculation hovering around his future by signing a new contract with record champions SC Villa
The fast-paced, tricky winger who can also ably play and a number 10 has agreed to sign on a deal that will see him pull on the blue and white strip for the next two years.
Kakande joined SC Villa three years ago and has been one of the best performers of the club, guiding them to the record extending title and also emerging the league’s best player in 2023/24 season.
His rise in stock has seen him win back to back call up to the senior national team after also being a key member of Morley Byekwaso’s impressive CHAN team.
Kakande joined SC Villa from the Uganda Martyrs High School team. He also starred for Bulemeezi Ssaza team of 2022.

‘Whether you’re reflecting on the season, sharing a laugh with loved ones, or adding a festive touch is very key at the moment especially at this time with just a few days left to 2025 Christmas’. These were the words of Alex Muhangi, ForteBet brand ambassador while handing over a 10 million dummy cheque to the management of Special Children, Special People located in Luwule Village, Kasanje town council.
The home houses largely People With Disabilities (PWD), but largely children. According to the home director, Moses Luwule, most of these children are found abandoned because of their disfigured body looks. So, in coordination with the authorities, they adapt them.
“I really short of words. We are so grateful to ForteBet for this hand of help. The cost of running this home is extremely high, and therefore we need everyone’s support like ForteBet has done.”
