FORTEBET CELEBRATES X-MAS WITH PALLISA PUNTERS IN A SPECIAL WAY
Who, among the punters and watchers, won’t remember December’s Pallisa ForteBet-Alex Muhangi soccer tour? Most likely no one!
The tour, which takes place at the end of every month, was organized by ForteBet in conjunction with the company brand ambassador, Alex Muhangi.
This jaw-dropping Christmas tournament took place at Busitema University playground. Teams representing ForteBet branches then played in knockout encounters until the victors, Kadama Centre, emerged.
These victors were prized with 500,000/=, footballs and club jerseys. The second placed team was also prized with 300,000/=, balls and jerseys while the other teams were given 100,000/=, jerseys and balls. The best individual players were also awarded gifts like phones and headsets.

Uganda Premier league confirms postponement of BUL vs KCCA FC match
The Uganda Premier League Secretariat has confirmed the rescheduling of match day nine of the Uganda Premier League between BUL FC and KCCA.
Initially the game was to be played on Saturday 6th December but it has been shifted to Sunday 7th due to the Kyabazinga Masaza Cup final,
“The secretariat acknowledges the receipt of correspodence from BUL FC dated 03-12-2025 together with supporting communication from the minister of Sports of Obwa Kyabazinga bwa Busoga regarding the Kyabazinga Masaza finals scheduled for Saturday 6-12-2025.”
“Both BUL FC and the Kingdom requested that the fixture be rescheduled to allow the King’s subjects attend the final,”
“Accordingly BUL FC Vs KCCA FC match day 9 fixture has been rescheduled to Sunday 07 December 2025 at the FUFA Techinical Center Njeru. The match will be broadcast live on FUFA TV/ Sanyuka Prime TV kick off at 3:00pm”
BUL currently occupy the eighth position with ten points from eight games while KCCA tops the table with 17 points from the same number of games.

Alex Isabirye sacked by URA FC
Isabirye leaves URA FC alongside his assistans Baker Kasule, Damba Jamil and Patrick Asiku Crespo.
Kasule has been serving as the second assistant, Damba as the goalkeeping coach and Asiku as the third assistant.
His departure comes after the club’s 2-1 defeat to KCCA FC on Friday evening.
Isabirye returned to URA FC a season ago in a bid to revive the club’s glory days but has instead endured rough and torrid times in his spell.
He was appointed as the club’s head coach in May 2023 and went on to manage 36 games, winning 17, drawing nine and losing 10 times.
He is arguably one of them most decorated coaches in the country and has managed sides like Vipers SC, Express FC, BUL FC, Soana, Kyetume FC, Nyamityobora and Somalia’s Horseed SC.
The Tax Collectors are expected to announce a new head coach this week with Hussein Mbalangu the most favourite candidate.

Police FC sign veteran Deus Bukenya
Police FC have announced the signing of midfielder Deus Bukenya on a two year contract.
Bukenya has been signed from Tanzania’s Kagera Sugar where he spent the last two seasons.
He is a two time Uganda Premier League winner with Vipers in 2015 and Express FC in 2021.
Bukenya primarily operates as a defensive midfielder but can as well play as a right back.
He is expected to be a direct replacement for Timothy Muwanguzi who left the club and joined NEC FC as earlier reported.
Bukenya joins the list of new players at Police FC who also include left back Richard Matovu from Vipers and former SC Villa striker Charles Bbaale.
Stephen Namaisi, Benon Tahomera, Saidi Kyeyune and Lawrence Tezikya Enzo are other new signings at the club.
Police FC will use Kiira Road Police Arena in Kamwokya as their home ground in the upcoming season.
